Language
Your baby’s language becomes more and more perfect. New words are added to the previous “vocabulary” every day. But still, your little one son or daughter’s vocabulary is quite poor yet. It mostly includes two – syllable words, which name baby’s beloved people or his favourite actions: “mama”, “papa”, “eat”, “see” etc. You should not forget that every single baby is a personality with his very own vocabulary. Your little one may also be trying to change his voice: he would whisper or change its intonation, as if speaking. Thus your baby manages to “ape” your voice and intonation. He is your creature, who loves you most of all in this world! And you may never forget about it!
Sleep
The time, when you may let yourself to sleep the whole night again has finally come back. Of course it may only happen, if nothing bothers your little child. Your baby’s night sleep lasts about 10 – 12 hours. And among the reasons of the little one’s insomnia are the following: the tooth appearance process, colic, virous infections, etc. Babies at the age from nine to twelve months like to uncover themselves during their night sleep. There is no need to be on duty at his bed, you should better put a warm pajama on your little son or daughter. Sometimes a baby may get tangled in the blanket, so it will be more comfortable for him, if you buy a special sleeping sack. And remember, babies of this age are to sleep on a matras without any pillow, and you may never cover him with a downy blanket. On order your little child had no problems with his night sleep; try to make him awaken in high spirits. And it would only be possible, if a baby awakening sees you, his mostly beloved mother, and if he hears your words of affection. Only then he will fall asleep calmly, thinking about his pleasant awakening in the morning.
During this month of his life your little baby should sleep twice a day, if he does it one time a day, his sleeping period lasts longer as a rule. No one can name any definite sleeping hours, as each baby chooses them by himself.

Intellectual
Your little one does not like “boring” games, where a simple action would be repeated again and again. He is able to remember a game, he enjoyed the day before. Babies of this age can fulfill easy requests. They are afraid of height and of large and empty room. Your little son or daughter can pronounce the words: “mama”, “papa”, “hi”, “eat”, “see”, etc. A baby is also able to play games like “A Very – Very Tall”, or “Where Are You?”
Social
Babies at the age of nine months wish to play together with their parents, or at least they want someone they know stay close to them all their play – time. Children become extremely particular in the choice of the toy to play with. Your baby likes to “ape” other kids. If his “company” cries, he will support his friends and begins to cry even louder. He is fond of coughing, sneezing, and laughing of any adult person imitation. Babies become crazy about ”giving concerts” in front of spectators and they would repeat the action they like many times. Your little one can also take the lead in a game.
Sensor – Motive
Your baby can hold a subject and move it back and forth with his both hands. He is also able to conduct manipulations with both subjects simultaneously. Your son or daughter can fetch a small with both hands. Babies crawl holding a toy in one hand. Little children can turn around while crawling. They love to clap their hands.
Physical
A baby gains about one pound and he becomes more than one inch longer.
