Your face is still an object for baby’s investigation. His little fingers would get pressed into your nostrils, eyes, mouth, etc. Your baby begins to realize that he and you are two different persons. When he pulls his hair – it hurts, when he pulls your hair – then it somehow does not.
Your baby’s favourite activity is game. But someone else is to take part in it, as a little child demands to have constant eyes, movements or voice contact with you. And notice how disappointed his little face looks, when you turn away from your little one to do something different.

Intellectual
Your baby has changeable mood and different emotions. The amount of successfully pronounced sounds becomes bigger, and these sounds get combined into syllables. He can compare two different subjects and likes to watch after some moving object (like a car, a person, etc) for a while.
Social
Babies can express their pleasure or displeasure with the help of their voice. They would “giggle” and laugh when they like something. Babies also get nervous or worried when they see a stranger. Your little one smiles looking at himself in the mirror. He listens to music “sings along” with it or stops crying when he hears some musical piece. Babies usually turn their heads if they hear someone is calling their name.

Your little baby is able to sit with his back being even without your assistance already. He turns and bends in all possible directions. Babies at this period should try to crawl, resting on their knees and stretched arms. They love to play with any hard food, given to them with their fingers, spoons, toys or tongue. Your baby can make different manipulations with light objects and he is also able to hold a cup in his hands. He can turn his head in different directions, and turning from his back into his side a baby manages to sit independently.
