Your baby moves with too much of activity, especially after he starts walking independently. A little creature would get into all the rooms of your house or apartment with such a speed, that you merely can catch up with him. This is the reason of his little weight gaining, as all your baby’s energy turns into movement right away.
Playing
This kind of activity becomes the main source of your baby’s surrounding investigation. You should never yell at your little son, if you find him playing with dolls! It is not a “girl’s game” for him yet, a doll is only a toy, just like all the others.
Babies like to imitate sounds and behaviour of different animals; they also like to repeat all your sounds and activities. Now it is the right time to buy a toy iron, telephone, hammer for your little son or daughter.
Language
Your baby’s vocabulary becomes wider, or it may stay the same, it was one month ago. But your child’s passive vocabulary becomes wider with every passing day. Your little one is able to show every person in your family, if you say his name. If you pronounce a sound of some object, your baby can point the subject you meant with his finger. “Active” language may appear much later.
Sleep
Children of this age need to sleep one time a day after lunch. But there are some “overactive” babies, who refuse to sleep at a daytime at all.
The Surrounding Perception
Your baby begins to like and dislike some definite people, toys, dishes, activities, etc. little children would play with their parents with great pleasure: they like to roll the ball, put their toys from one place into another, and they love to imitate their parents, other relatives, friends, animals, or even things.

Ask your doctor’s advice as for your baby’s menu, exercising, and tempering. If your little one catches a cold too often, consult with the doctor about possible ways of his immune system strengthening.
Soon your baby will be celebrating his first anniversary, and you both will accept congratulations from all your relatives. Look back at all the work you have done, at your skillful care, love, given to this baby. Everything is concentrated in this little creature – you little son or daughter. Do you remember him being a helpless, constantly crying little baby? And how much has he achieved by this time! And this all is only thanks to you! There are a lot of happy days, achievements, explorations in front of you, and mind that your baby’s future depends on you and your love to him. Make his future happy and cloudless.
