Your Baby’s Achievements

Intellectual
Your baby can understand orders, requests and most of what he is said to. He can pronounce simple word – combinations, consisting of two words: “mama yeah”, etc. your little son or daughter can recognize an animal in the picture, he or she is also able to remember all recent events.

Social
Babies play games, where objects are in movement. They resist their sleepiness by becoming irritated. Your little one expresses negative reaction on his parents’ absence. He becomes sly, and likes to demand more help than he really needs. Babies may reveal sense of humour. They would demand a doll or some other toy to accompany them while having dinner, bathing or sleeping.

Sensor – Motive
Your baby knows how to use such toys as telephone, hammer, iron, etc. he prefers one of his hand to be more active. Babies connect different ways of moving (crawling, crawling on their feet and hands backwards, walking). You little son or daughter start may start walking without any assistance or support, gradually. A baby can get out of his bed or cradle; he is also able to get up and down the stairs. Little children of this age prefer playing in a sitting position; they can stand up easily, holding for a support.

Physical
During this month your little baby gains 0, 6 – 0, 7 pounds, and becomes approximately one inch longer.

Language
Your little baby shows you his vocal abilities more and more often; by this time new intonations and sounds have appeared in his voice. In such a way any little child would expresses his wish to communicate with people, surrounding him. You should pay attention that your baby “answers” only after you finish talking to him, as if this little creature listens to what you have told. Of course no baby of this age is able to understand our language, but every little child has a wish to communicate. Scientists have made the following experiment: after every sound of a baby some melody began to play. Babies listened to it, but they did not “respond”, and only after they heard some voice of a person, they would begin to “talk” again.

Quite often your baby has a wish to talk to himself, begin alone. He would play with his hands, under his own sounds accompaniment. It has been proved, that these children grow calmer than those, who were limited in communication and singing”.

While taking care after your baby, you should explain every your action to him. And it is not necessary to talk to in a baby’s language; you should better use our adult language. Although your little one can not understand you yet, it will become a kind of training for his future communication.
If you have some time to play with your baby, do not forget to talk to him while playing: show and name all the objects you see, copy animal’s sounds, and tell which animal they belong to, etc.

There are children, who like to “”listen to some calm, or even dancing music while they are in their active period. Let them do it, as you may possibly have some future Vivaldy in the cradle!
